Intentionally spending mindful time in nature can help heal relationships with ourselves, our community, and our more-than-human world. In this half-hour webinar, Forest Guide, Dhruv Veda of Forest Harmony, will introduce participants to what forest bathing is, the positive effects it has on mitigating stress, and how they can get involved in their own local chapters. If you've ever been curious about what Forest Bathing is, this crash course webinar is the perfect place to begin!

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?

This webinar is designed for anyone who teaches in a forest or nature school program, which could include: teachers, aides, guides, administrators, naturalists.

Dhruv Veda - Founder and Forest Bathing Guide at Forest Harmony

Dhruv Veda is the founder of Forest Harmony, a youth-led initiative promoting mental well-being through nature-based programs such as forest bathing, birding walks, and community workshops. Inspired by scientific research on nature’s impact on stress and anxiety, he has led events across Maryland for veterans, seniors, and underserved populations. His work has earned recognition from the Maryland Senate, Ben Carson Foundation, Congressional Medal and partnerships with organizations like the American Legion, the VFW and the Howard County Conservancy. Dhruv has also presented his efforts at seminars at Howard County 50+ centers, blending research with community service. He hopes to continue expanding Forest Harmony as a bridge between science, service, and healing.
